2 years ago, I was looking forward to getting my slime green ZX10. But Kawasaki has this cruel joke thing going and wouldn't ship my local dealer any green ones. I was weak and couldn't stand it any more and took a Candy Thunder Blue. The blue really is a beautiful color. Last week, I ran into a guy with a green ZX10. We were talking and he said when he got his 10 he wanted blue but his dealer in another city, couldn't get blue and got green instead. Hmmm. Now we are both happy. But all of my friends who are not long time Kawasaki fans, think I am crazy. Only die hard Kawasaki fans seem to prefer the green. But too me, my bike is now the right color. The "only" appropriate color for this beast. And the best thing is that it is faster now and handles better.

If you think you bike is fast enough and handles well, perhaps its better you didn'y get a green one, because it would have torn your heart out and eaten it by now!!! Candy thunder? Have a word with them, someone!!!

I was offered a Green one since the Black was in such short supply as Kawasaki UK were expecting the green to be more popular, I told em to poke green I'd wait for the Black, so waited another month and was so glad I did, parked next to a green one and the amount of people said it looked so much better in Black was ridiculous, had all the comments like sexy and mean, but what did strike me was not one person prefered the green, so not only is green slower it's been slower selling as well 8)

I had a downpayment since October 03 for the 1st Black to arrive at the dealership. Once it came in, it turned out that it would be the only Black in my city this year. I voted once even though I'm on my second orange one. A smoked-up, drunk driver helped me total my first orange one a month ago....just got my second orange one last monday.

The orange was nice but too conspicous in my neighborhood. Got black for that reason.
