I just took apart my airbox to do the 1/5 throttle mod and adjust my throttle cables. Who knows what the stock air filter looks like? I took this one out and it has the wire mesh with the orangeish filter media, but the rubber gasket on it is black and i dont see any part number anywhere. is this an aftermarket or stock filter?

Like previously stated theres pro's and cons with K&N,BMC and the stock filter.
With K&N and the BMC they are more pourous and allow finer grit to pass through.
Plus after you recharge it,it sucks in the oil off the filter for awhile and throws off your air/gas mixture.
Whether or not we street riders notice it,probably not.
Sweet find though them filters are big$$.
