lately noticed ass been getting hot on longer rides on my, 06 anyone else have this problem

I have been noticing this on my 08....and it has a side exhaust :dontknow: It must be the heat blowing off from the engine and going up under the bodywork/seat

lately noticed ass been getting hot on longer rides on my, 06 anyone else have this problem Yeah exhaust under the tail is a pain...Had same issue with my 600rr...My 10R seems to be a hot running bike...Then again, NorCal has been hot lately. Even then, it is not a warm bike to ride...More hot.

MOREFIRE. I understand your pain. The exhaust is on the right side, but after a long ride my left thigh and leg are a nice medium well. I know the weather is hot, but one redlight and I am climbing into the 190 - 200 range? Guess I will just have to keep moving.

I have an '06 also but don't have this problem, and I live in Cyprus which is VERY hot at this time of year. I only feel heat coming from the main frame which gets very hot from the engine when riding around town.

Man, Vida can sure make a man's pants tight. :badteeth: If you wanna have a hot ass though, try riding an 848 or 1098 with the stock cans on. They have the catalizers in the cans and I swore I was riding a blowtorch. Even now it gets a little warm with the Termignoni's on, but it was almost excruciating in traffic on a warm day with the stockers. Made my 10 seem like it had air conditioning in comparison.

the last ride we went on was to downtown chicago in a bunch of night time city traffic and all vinja314 kept saying is "holy shit my balls are sweating" LOL

Vida is way hotter. Just remember you are sitting on top of a performance engine.
