So I bought a set of the LED modules from Greggs Customs. They're clear with Amber LED's. I decided to mount them in the tail section and wire them up so I could use the plate bracket I made the other day. Here's the pix... I started by plotting the best spot to drill two .750" holes... http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f296/madryan/IMG_0138.jpg http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f296/madryan/IMG_0139.jpg I then put the LED's in using a piece of really stiff foam wedged between the LED's and the tail light to hold them in. It's really secure and won't vibrate loose. http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f296/madryan/IMG_0141.jpg http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f296/madryan/IMG_0142.jpg It's a Union job so my Dog Buster is supervising... http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f296/madryan/IMG_0143.jpg Here's what it looks like all put back together. Notice the temporary plate due to the lame DMV in Oregon taking forever. http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f296/madryan/IMG_0147.jpg http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f296/madryan/IMG_0144.jpg Here's the bracket I knocked together with some scrap Aluminum I had laying around... http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f296/madryan/IMG_0146.jpg If anyone is curious about anything let me know. Total out of pocket was about $35.

Great Post. You might wanna add where to get the leds / part numbers. It'll be helpful for others.

Great Post. You might wanna add where to get the leds / part numbers. It'll be helpful for others. They're on Gregg's Customs website for $29.99. Cost $5 to ship and got them in two days. I see if I can dig up a link... http://www.gcshopping.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=28&products_id=128&osCsid=710a7d2d09c6bea614c463380443b644

I've got an LMT I used to use for 3-gun before I got back in a Blues/Soul band and had to practice on IDPA night.

Nice, thanks for the link. Are they easily visible? I know that LED's direct light, and if the sweep angle on them isnt enough they can be tough to see... thats what happened to mine. I saw they come with the current limitors so they dont blink fast, can you confirm?

What's the front look like? Back looks great BTW. My Dad's best friend is a machinist and made these block off plates for me - then I polished them and installed the turn signals. 73331

Not an 08 lover (not a hater either), but this setup looks great. Rep to madryan and Alien10.

I saw they come with the current limitors so they dont blink fast, can you confirm? First off, they're very bright and visible from behind and the sides. These come with current limiters so you can hook them directly to 12V and not cook the LED's, but they do flash fast unless you install a resistor or use an electronic flasher. That being said, it doesn't bother me as I think it's more noticeable.

I ordered the electronic plug and play flasher from McCoy motorsports - it slowed the flash rate down to stock and it plugged in hassle free.
