Did that color mix come up "Signal Green" after you color matched it? It did for me, but the DBC that I had mixed was a little on the yellow side.

My race cars are painted "signal green" and they are a little more yellow than the Kawi.
LIME TIME 08-10-2005, 03:58 AM so you have any codes for the 05 lime?
treyzx10r 08-10-2005, 07:49 PM so you have any codes for the 05 lime?not yet soon as i get it i'll post it up for yall
Houston_Rider 09-27-2006, 07:06 PM I'm looking for 05/06 Lime Green for Dupont or PPG... I tried to get a match with the "617" code from the Colorrite site, and it wasn't transferring. I did a camera shot to get a better match and still had to tint from there. I'm very close, but still a bit too dark. I use Dupont, so I'm hoping someone has found a formula that will get me there. That Color Rite stuff is higher than Giraffe pussy...
treyzx10r 09-27-2006, 07:37 PM still having trouble with an exact match on the 05 color got close but milked it out ,still tool pale:headshake

ninja_12r2000 09-27-2006, 08:25 PM Did anybody found the flat stoïc black color of the low side panel and frame on 2004 (same as 2005 and probably 2006).
So did anybody know ???
ninjamaster6-10 09-27-2006, 09:40 PM :zx_blk: 2004 zx10r black is called" Spark black"And is available through NexaAutocolor
Paint code is 4RGYB.Had to replace the right mid on my 04 and this color is a perfect match!
PPG'c Global line has the code too!!!!!:occasion1
ninjamaster6-10 09-27-2006, 09:44 PM I also think the black color on the 06 is ppg 9700.Straight black!
ninja_12r2000 09-27-2006, 09:45 PM Did you have pictures ninjamaster ???
Thanks a big lot AWY I will check the thing with a PPG shop or with the other company you tell.
What kind of clear you put on the paint ??? PPG or others ????
You give me a good help on this one.
ninjamaster6-10 09-27-2006, 11:14 PM http://zx-10r.net/gallery/showimage.php?i=2177&c=5Pic of the seat cowl I painted too!http://zx-10r.net/gallery/showimage.php?i=2176&c=5And here is the mid.
When I was in Salt Lake at Miller Motor parks I talked to a few other zx10 members and I think one was Vegas10r.They said the match looked perfect.
I use ppg clear Dc3000 with a sealer coat of K36 as a sealer.

Got a PP&G place near me. Simply give them the 4RGYB for "Spark Black" and I can get it in BC or DBC formulation?
How about the Candy Plasma Blue on the '05 636 - anyone ever get formulations for the base and mid coats?
I need to paint the tank on the 10R and repaint my racebody on the 636. First time I did the 636 was with a custom match, they'd said they'd rather not rematch it.
ninjamaster6-10 01-19-2007, 11:57 PM The computer at work gives the codes for all 04 -05 colors but they mix in the PPG Global line. The NEXA Autocolor has the paint codes also.I've had no promblems with the auto color.I'm actually going to repaint my 04 with it in the next couple of weeks.I think I'm going to use PPG clear DCU2002 cuz it's a polyurethane clear(tough as hell)
ninja_12r2000 01-20-2007, 09:04 AM Mister ninjamaster 6-10, the code I'm looking for are the one of the frame and the lowwer panel and the little black plastic thing in front of the seat.
I think it's call stoïc black, but the code in PPG or other can't found it...

Thanks! I'll be in Scottsdale Paint on Monday, then, that's really great to know. I use DBC (Deltron) a lot, but have shot BC (Global) a lot, too.
I use the DCU2021 Concept clear exclusively, I love that stuff. A freaking spastic ring-tailed lemur could get that stuff to lay down nicely.
ninjamaster6-10 01-21-2007, 12:12 AM I am going to send my filler peice that goes in between the tank and frame to the paint shop to get a prophet done on it Monday!I want to paint my footpegs for my 10 and my 06 636.:+1:

06450F 01-21-2007, 04:58 PM Okay so those cumulative parts you listed in the initial thread are for what sort of green? Ive read over the entire post but am unsure.........do they not match up to the factory green of any models?
For those tinting and mixing on own, i found even the color-right is a tad darker than my 06 actual color.

ninjamaster6-10 01-21-2007, 10:56 PM I think the 04 green is a little darker!!!!
