Hi to all Just had my ZZR 1400 for seven weeks, bought new. Just finished a great touring week and covered 1100 miles visiting relatives in Wales and England, travelling from my home in Scotland. Anyway the bike was fantastic two up most of those miles. I got 30 miles from home and the bag was falling of the back, with my girlfriend still sitting on the bike I tried to sort the luggage when it tip forward. Bottom fairing is badly scored, some scores on the left hand panel, indicator and the clutch lever is bent a little. Only thing broken is the hero blob, the bags saved any damage on the rear end. My girlfriend was fine, I think she absorbed some of the fall as the damage is not as bad as I thought it might be. Of course I feel like a right tit, why did I not park it in gear, why did I not buy a proper top box bla bla bla. However I do believe what is for you won't pass you by, so that's that. Does anyone know the price of these panels, can you buy the paint it is the 08 sapphire metallic blue. I have a £450 excess so my thinking is just to sort it out and keep the panels as spares but it will depend on the cost. But I must finish by saying I love this bike, I have been riding for 25 years and never have I been so comfortable with a bike. Great mile eating missile.
