Alright, i know the quality of the stand is very good. What i'm basically wondering is, are they worth the money? Obviously it would make cleaning/lubing the chain a ton easier, and make changing the oil easier. But other than that, what are the other reasons people buy these stands, if any? Also, should i buy both the front AND the rear if i buy them? I was thinking just the rear one would suffice. But please let me know what you guys think! Thanks!

I have the rear and the "new front" stands!!......LOVE EM!!..bike on them now!!they are super strong and well made!.sure they are pricey, but I always say, most of the time.you get what ya pay for!!.......no complaints here! bought the rear used for 80bucks and the front new for 170 with tax and all!! PLus I have two pitbull dogs so i have always been an advocate for anything with the pitbull name on it!!.......gonna order a trailer stand for my enclosed this spring!!..mounts through the rear axle so that the bike is more oe less bolted down inside the trailer to eliminate movement, and tying down putting pressure on the forks!!.....no blown seals for me bro!! goin to the track this summer to see just how fast some of my friends really are!!!!lol.........................................

I really like the Pitbull stands. They make maintenance a lot easier and just working on the bike is easier. I can change tires, brakes, etc. all with ease so IMHO they're well worth the money.

Bought my Pitbull f/r stands used. I am happy with them. No second guessing if the ride will stay upright or on its side the next day.

becareful of pitbull...i've had my bike fall off them three times for no reason.... just kidding...thought i would get that in before everyone posts about how they had bikes just fall off all other brands of stands other than pitbull...with all these bikes falling off stands you would think there must be a class action lawsuit somewhere.......ps..pitbull are quality stands..just pricey

You get......what you pay for...... Pit Bull...... Yes you do. After I bought my 06 10R, I bought a new Pit Bull REAR stand for it. I already owned a FRONT Pit Bull stand, so all I thought I needed was a new pin for it to fit the 10R. So I bought the pin listed on Pit Bulls site and it didnt work. I talked to the owner Charlie Van Valkenburg? and he said it works and couldn't understand why I was having clearance with the front fender issues. So he asked me to make some pix and email them to him, which I did. His immediate reply was that I had one of the older and first Front stands he made and they didn't work with the later model sportbikes. So he sold me a new FRONT stand direct to me at cost. Like $85.00 shipped. Now that's service. JJ

T-REX STANDS ARE THE SAME THING! You're paying for a name when it comes to pitbull. Go buy a set of t-rex stands off ebay. Had mine for 2 years "strong"!!! When I compared my t-rex stands to my boys pitbulls, they are identical in every way shape and form. Also they both weigh the same as well. For those of you paying top dollar for everything in life, if you can do that than more power to you. But in today's world, "sometimes" paying more for something is not alway's the best way.
