riding4life162 12-07-2007, 07:04 PM I wouldnt advise getting a impala, yeah theyre big cars, cheap with pretty good power but I would go with something that will last more than a few years and something that will hold value better. I would suggest a japanese car, honda or toyota, they are awesome cars. I will never buy a american car again. Had an impala liked it the first couple thousand miles then had problems and did all required mainenance and them some. Ive had 3 hondas and never ever had a problem with them, hell 1 is 16 years old and still being used and has never had any major problems other than normal wear and tear. just my opinion
mjg68901 12-08-2007, 09:55 AM I had thought of a Honda Accord also. They have transmission problems though. The Impala is a very safe car, that is something that I am looking at also. Thanks for the advice though.

Transmission Probs, Never, Ive owned 1 civic and 2 accords and never a problem. May have been a lemon, I'm in the military and I know tons of peeps from all over the US who own accords and civics and never have i heard of a transmission prob. Toyotas are great cars too, might wanna check into those also, they all hold value well.

Yeah, I would if I could:rolleyes::lol:.
norcal10 12-16-2007, 02:09 PM yea dude, stay away from the impala. i work on them all the time. the alignment is always off, camber cant be adjusted up, eats tires, and replacement parts are spendy for an american car. if you want a nice big sedan get a nissan maxima.
mjg68901 12-16-2007, 05:08 PM I like the maxima. Looking for something that has good safety ratings also.
mjg68901 01-07-2008, 07:11 PM Still got this sitting around. Still HAS TO GO. Someone needs a great trailer puller.
