Does the 06 10R need the O2 Oxygen sensor eliminator dongle thing? Powercommander makes one but when I took my exhaust off I didn't see any O2 sensor in the exhaust system. On previous bikes there was a sensor wired into the exhaust.

pretty sure only the euro model has o2 sensors...so if you have the american version you are good to go!

That is correct only Euro models have them. If you can't find it on your bike then breath a sigh of relief, no need to spend extra cash just to have the FI light stop blinking.

Cool. I thought I didn't need it but since powercommander had one for the 06 10R I was wondering if I missed something.

I think they are only fitted to the Euro models, but I don't know about the 2008 version. The 06 and 07 have different gender fittings, so if you do need them order for the right year. If you have a US model then you should see two raised areas on top of the cat, on the Euro models they are tapped to fit the sensors, on the US they are blank. The eliminators fit just in front of the header tank, so they get all the water that the front wheel throws up, so you need to cover them in silicone grease or they will short out, I speak from experience, I'm on my second set.

Sorry, they went back to dynojet for a warranty claim. They advised I fitted the replacements using dialectric grease. I imagine the eliminators just send back a "good mixture" signal, so the pcIII can do it's stuff uninterrupted.

Do you have a pic where I can see where the O2 sensors are located? Have an 07 ZX-10R European model...would be great :y

I can't find a picture, but they are just below the radiator on the left-hand side looking forward. According to the Power Commander website they are needed on California-spec bikes as well.
