I guess thats why its a sport tourer cause it was the worst thing ever compared to my 10. the 14 was basically stock except for the m4 slipons. Its very smooth and comfy a lil to smooth in the power department for me brakes are fuggin crazy mirrors work missed a gear not used to hydralic (cant feel a dam thing). Rant over.

Well it is , what it is. I would suppose a touring, commuting minded rider would test ride a 10R and say its twitch, clutch feels hard to pull and hurts the ass, wrists and back......compared to his 1400

I guess when your ready to do some serious miles on a bike and have fun at the same time you might enjoy the 14!Personally.I love mine.Biggest thing is the gas range. When ya start moding the 10 the gas milage goes down. You start looking for gas stations every 100 miles as where the range on the 14 is around 180-200. And when it comes to cornering, sure is a lot more stable in the corners(the weight helps).Hell,I did over 800 miles on mine in a day.Can that be said with the 10??

stock wheelbase all motor i've seen them go 5.8's. Brock Davidson took his into the consistent 5.9's. (all 1/8mile numbers here)

flies need to be pulled. the 14 is nutered out of the crate :ot: I'm a little slow one here....:badteeth: These "files" everyone mentions... are they something in the factory ECM that you have to have a Kawi. Dealer Scanner / code reader to alter??? :dontknow: Just curious...

secondary throttle butterflys - the ECM neuters the intake.. you remove them and remap your power commnader and hold on

I rode my friends 14 and he rode my 10 and we both agreed that its all what you like! The 14 is definetly a topend beast it is so smooth i guess from the weight that the speed actually sneaks up on you!Yes he said the 10 was uncomfortable twichty. He is 6'4" and im 5'5" that explains alot!
