Would i benefit putting full akrapovic race on a 05 10r without mapping? Any of yoyu tried that? Any dynos? Thanks for your time:occasion1

the search button is your friend. yes you would benefit but youd def need a custom map in time.

Yeah I wouldn't say you'd benefit much without the map...probably a slight benefit in as you'd save about 5 pounds if you're talking about the EVO system. You will definitely need a map soon though.

In short, it would run like stir fried butt crack untill you got it mapped.:headshake How long you been ridin? A full exhaust without some sort of fuel mapping is without a doubt the biggest waste of money you can make.

If your gonna skip the mapping, you'd be better off saving some coin and getting a slip-on. There will be several members putting their bikes back to stock to sell in anticipation of buying an 08. Check the classifieds!

Ok from my experience I had a full akra put on my bike and it put out 150 hp without a map. After a nice custom map it made 163 hp. So yeah it's pretty much a waste to get a full system without a custom map IMHO.
