I believe that after that flaw was discovered a couple of months ago, Kryptonite pulled the defective locks from the shelves and came out with a new locking mechanism... although I'm sure there are still plenty of defective units out there still in use...

As far as I know Kryptonite put out a world wide recall on all locks with cylinder style key. Since we are talking loads and loads of locks they are still busy replacing.
