The only good news from this side of the pond, is that our gallons are bigger. However, we get screwed on everything else... @ $7 per gallon (ish) @ $1000 insurance average @ $17000 per ZX10 (ish) Screwed on leathers, parts, oil, blah, blah, blah... I am not exacllty being easy on my bike, but not killing it either and my low light came on at 117 the other day. After that I only put 3 gallons in, I was impressed; so far its doing better than my ex500 at with ten times the ... you know what I mean :shock:

zed- i ride everyday, to and from werk, in the rain, i dint give a darn, if it get too nasty ill ride my girlfriends bandit 400, but you have to clutch the shit outta that thing just to get a little wheelie. its not that cool at the stoplights either.
