Well, I called in at the dealers again today, to be told that I am now TOP-OF-THE-LIST for Green. :P Then, I swear there were horns growing out of the top of his head, as he told me they had a Black 'Un, still crated up, but mine for the asking!!! Oh, the pain. I knew it was a second test... ... which I only just passed. I don't think I can take much more of this... :evil: Should I hold out, at the risk of losing my sanity???

Don't give in to the temptation you will regret it :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: Until now the waiting for me was no problem, now the weather is improving and I see loads of people picking up their bikes, I am getting anxious man. But it is only 4 weeks from now I'll manage. 8) Good things come to those who wait :wink:

I was offered a blue one and just laughed at the dealer. The green is the only way to go! Has anyone bought a blue one without being held to ransom?

If I wanted orange I could have had it two weeks before I got my black one. I'm glad I held out - I think you should too even though it's painful.

Well lads, here comes easter, and still no sign of her. :( :( :( . Zed, I've just back off my first real blast in dry weather, and let me tell you the wait will be well worth it. It was freezing and I didn't even realise until I stopped to take a leak. The mags all complained that you need to give it full attention all the time, but you won't want to give attention to anything else. Obviously keeping the revs down hampers any real power, so I took it off to some of Surreys finest bendy lanes. I moved to the 10R from a 7RR with jacked up ride height, dropped forks and Oz wheels, and I thought that was sharp handling. Sh*t the f*cking bed, the 10R makes it seem like turning a barge in porridge! Excuse the expletives, but there is no other way to describe it. Everyone here raves about the bike, but you don't really get a clue what they're gibbering about until you ride the thing. The only problem I had after three hours was a pain in my left hand because the clutch was way stiffer than on the 7. However, I'll get used to that. I didn't want to lose the 7RR, but if you offered it back to me now, even with Anna Friel sat on it in a rubber suit and sh*tting gold bars, you could stuff it.
