I am in the process of organizing a private track day at nelsons ledges race track in north eastern ohio if there is anyone interested please contact me. The track day will consist of 8 to 10 hours of track use and there will be instructors avaliable for people who are interested. The cost is 200.00 per person and if you dont have leathers they rent leathers for 50.00. If you or anyone you know is interested let me know we are planning on early june so that people have enough notice. As for the bike requirements, your lights must be removed or masked, tires must have 80% tread life, and must pass a tech inspection. I reccomend a steering dampner but it's not required. Coolant does not need to be drained but it is advised. There will be an ambulance and crash crew on premis. Any other questions feel free to ask me. The track can accomidate about 30 people reservations will be necessary and it will be first come first serve. I have been to this track numerous times and it is a very fast track with 13 corners.:cool:

Do they run that track clockwise? How are the run-off areas? On the arial photos I'm looking at, I don't see any gravel.

The track is ran clockwise and all of the turn have ample run off consisting of large areas of grass with a tire wall o the outskirts. There is no gravel the way the track is set up the grass offers more than ample time to recover and correct one's self. i have over 500 laps on the course and never had any issues.
