: What frame slider do you recommend?
ZX-10Rrider 09-18-2004, 04:16 PM My bike fell over a few weekends ago. :x
Gouged the upper fairing, broke the mirror and the rearset. Not sure these would have save the mirror or the rearset, but possibly would have saved the damage to my plastics.
I just wanted some opinions on which ones you guys think are the best to go with for protection.
wheelup702 09-18-2004, 04:17 PM I have the Muzzys sliders. Awesome quality, no cutting required. Took me 20 mins to install them. They look great and they are VERY sturdy. Well worth the money in my opinion.
I've got the Muzzy's too. They are sturdy and beautifull, yes I called a set of frame sliders beautiful. They match the bike perfectly. Only drawback is that at $150, it's probably cheaper to replace a fairing. :D
Meltz 09-18-2004, 06:25 PM We have a fairing that costs less than $150??? Which one? Maybe the little plastic piece behind the rider seat. :D :)
I love the Muzzys. No cutting. All the pieces are black. I could be mistaken, but I thought there was a stainless piece on the Shoguns...the part that moves the slider behind the fairing.
champ91 09-18-2004, 06:35 PM Cheap shameless plug.
CHAMP91 Sliders. NO CUT. Lower costs. :D

I have the barends and rear spools and fork sliders too.
Chills 09-20-2004, 04:01 PM I buy only one brand of slider: Champ91 sliders. You can't beat the price and workmanship.
ZX-10Rrider 09-20-2004, 04:01 PM Thanks guys,
I decided to buy the no-cut sliders from Champ91. They looked very similar to the Muzzy frame sliders at a fraction of the cost. Can't wait to install them. My bike is completely torn apart right now. Putting on Galpher front and rear lines, digi-gear indicator, pair valve block-off plates, clear euro's, cored the muffler, disabled the butterfly valve and removed charcoal canister. Now if I could just get my replacement mirror and decide on which rearsets to buy!!! [smilie=d:
champ91 09-20-2004, 05:44 PM lol take it from Chills. He's one of my crash test dummies. :D
Krazy1 09-20-2004, 06:37 PM Champ91 sliders are the best you can buy [smilie=o:
Thanks Bro
green machine 10-12-2004, 01:26 PM I bought mine from Inturacing.com. Intuitive's frame sliders bolt to the engine mount itself. Great sliders!
Tangy 10-12-2004, 07:02 PM I like my Lockhart Phillips. It comes with a bracket which I don't need to cut a hole in the fairing.
pongo 10-13-2004, 12:33 AM I've got champ91 sliders....nothing else out there better.
SacCityZ 10-13-2004, 08:40 AM champ91...frame and swingarm.

See Page 2 my links now work. :D
SacCityZ 10-13-2004, 04:35 PM BTW, in case there are any dumb asses like myself...there is a difference between the left and right sliders. Some people say the same applies for shoes, but I don't believe them.
