Little sample sound of the EVO 2.

Wow, thats all i can say. Is that the Akrapovic Evo 2 on your ZX-10? Looks and sounds awesome. But i bet that twin sounds awesome too.
Daveszx10 07-16-2004, 07:17 PM That is a full system EVO 2. The stock 999R sounds like the engine is going to fall apart. But once you change the exhaust, WATCH OUT!!!
Sounds like half Harley half Superbike.
wheelup702 07-16-2004, 07:20 PM It's not a case of sour grapes, but have never really been into Ducs... I appreciate what they are, but I just am not as enamoured by them anymore. The 916 was an amazing bike, but since then, especially with the bikes that the Japanese makers have been producing, I have lost my love for Ducati. They make an amazing bike, great handling and such, but it seems to me like it's more of a status item than anything else. I could say I would take a 999 over my 10R, but I'd just turn around and sell it to pocket some cash and buy another 10R!!! If I ever strike it rich, I will probably have a 998 in my garage, along with a Harley Davidson. Two bikes that I'd own for nostalgic reasons... But the rest of the stable would probably be Japanese, save for a Britten...
Nice - how bout a pic of the windscreen?
SacCityZ 07-16-2004, 07:31 PM No doubt that Ducati is a beautie, but in my opinion the lines on the 10R are far more sexy.
Daveszx10 07-16-2004, 07:42 PM Thanks for reminding me, that puppie cost $200.

I have to agree.
My neighbor has a 916 and that thing sounds like a wore out cement mixer.

Thanks bro
EDIT: WTF $55.00 just for shipping? The god damn thing weights like 3 pounds if that. God damn euro con artist.
Daveszx10 07-16-2004, 10:03 PM It comes in a huge box from the UK so they might go by size of the box and not the weight. I think it is worth it, but that is just me.
steves87 07-16-2004, 10:41 PM Dave,
What do you do for a career? A Ferarri 360? How old are you? I know I am not in the best paying business, but still can't see what I would need to do to park one of those next to the wifes minivan.
