Not sure what the deal is. They just said they had them and I was looking for one. Since they seem to be on back order, I just thought I would post it here and see. They are charging the $106 plus tax and I plan on taking care of the shipping so I figured $135. I know I can get one for $100 as well and be on back order too. But you still have to add for shipping. This turns out to be more since I have to pay local tax and then in turn charge shipping. Not trying to rape anyone, but making sure the costs get covered.

Do they have Black? I don't know. I can check what other colors they have in stock. When I ordered mine, I just checked the quantity on the green ones. I am picking up my green one tomorrow and will ask. They are closed today and are closed on Mondays.

I am over an hour away and I get there and they give me the 2 green cowls with no hardware and no pad?? I ask the parts guy where the rest of my cowls are and he said it is sold in pieces and they thought I only wanted the plastic part; ie no mounting hardware or pad. They are backordered on the mounting hardware and the pad, not the plastic cowl. The dealer was less than helpful and told me they assumed I just meant the cowl and insisted that everything is sold ala cart. I told them that I specifed when I ordered a couple days ago that I was surprised they had any since EVERYONE was out of stock and they were on backorder. I will not do business with these guys again. They handled this in a very unprofessional manner.

Order it from the Kawi web site for $99.95 or ask the dealer to order it for you for the same price.He should.That's how I got mine. :D

There is a part number for the seat cowl on the Kawasaki web site.The part # is for the complete seat and not just the plastic body.There are no other parts numbers for the pad or harwhare.The dealer is trying to make extra money.Definately a thumb down for him. :roll:
