: Brake upgrade - Line length?

I know there's a million posts about brakes and brake upgrades and yes I did do a search and read numerous posts....:badteeth: However, there doesn't seem to be anything on the length or banjo angles of the braided lines... So I have a 2004 ZX10R. I'm currently running ZX6R Nissin Calipers with stock MC and split lines from the MC which are made for the stock '10 Tokico setup. I have a ZX6R radial MC to go on, which obviously changes the angles of the banjos etc, so I need new lines. What I'm wondering is, how do I ensure the lines are built to the correct specs/lengths? Should they be built for a ZX6R but to the length of the '04 ZX10R? Or would one built for the ZX6R just fit, seeing as the components are all ZX6R anyway? :dontknow: Cheers.

The banjo fittings and angles are standard these days. You don't need new lines just to fit the new MC. They might be a little longer and have some more slack, but that's easy to deal with and is better than being too short. The reason the ZX-10 lines are longer is the Tokicos connect in the center of the caliper and the Nissins at the top. But if you already have those calipers, then you're already dealing with the length issue. Just hook up the MC to what you've got and you're done. Sent from my iPad using MO Free

In that case it would just be for cosmetics (Black would be preferable over clear) but its hardly a priority! I'm more about the GO than the SHOW!  Rep for you
