i have looked at a lot of the posts here about preparing a gen4 race bike, but i have not seen any one here installing triple clamps on the new bike, is the handling of the zx10r is very good that you don't need it?
lots of guys install it on the BMW, YAMAHA ..... why not the kawasaki? i know attack racing makes them.

so no one has any info or pros and cons on it?
tryin to give the competition a chance?
I wouldnt know, I dont have a Gen 4 and I dont road race. Just givin you a free bump so maybe someone else jumps in who knows.

thank you. i know that the gen 4 is a best that has all the power you need, and people always forget that if the bike handles better then you will get more comfortable and that will make better lap time. so that is why i am asking.

Not sure on the BMW & yamaha, but the ducati 1098 series need them for HARD track or racing..Given it can not be that bad for a HERO in Superstock as the 1098R has won 3 out 4 years and all you can do is change internals and swap shock..
But to be completely honest MOST bikes it is for the riders preference and what they like and makes them feel comfortable.
I run them on my 04 10R as i felt i would give up some of the TWITCHY handling for a more stabile platform. but what i also notice is the front end is a bit firmer without a doubt, far less flex.
same with my 636, though primarily it was to use the ohlins FGRT forks, i also found with the offset i am using i can get more stability with the same razor sharp handling due to the BST wheels and other weight loss on the bike..but it is all rider preference and adding to his/her confidence.
On the 10R not sure what the problem with that bike is as racebike..has the power maybe it is just the riders on board?

You generally only need to start messing with adjustable yokes etc when the original geometry is way out...........
