My first real street bike was a '70 Kawi 500 triple. That was the first bike I ever went 100 mph on. I really liked that bike. I bought it from a guy who had only ridden it for 2 weeks and he had a pretty big crash and sold it for $350. I spent less than $50.00 getting it fixed back up to ride again. Thanks for the memories. Take care of that beast.

that is sweet. havn't seen one in a long time. Had a friend in high school who had one. always carried three plugs with him. he was always fouling one. Oil pump delivers way to much oil.More oil means lean mixture and that spells trouble.People thinks that to avoid piston seizure is to trow more oil in the mixture.A bad thing to do.Those puppyes are very sensitive to carb mixture.Oil pump must be set a bit leaner to avoid oil plug fouling.trow a set of fat main jets and set of exspansion chambers and you can ride it hard with no seizing.

we told him to re jet it, but for some reason. he left it that way. he did have a bassinie pipe. I know i spelled it wrong. i wonder if they are still in bussines. is it hard to find parts for the motor?.
