question about tommy hayden zx-6rr

hello everyone im new to the board and i have a question about tommy hayden zx-6r. first i was wondering how much hp does the bike make to the wheels and also what kind of motor work does it have to it. thanx alot for your help.

:hello: Mmmmmmm the typical factory backed 600ss bikes are tweeked to 120-125rwhp and mind you within the AMA rules. I have no doubts each internal part is pulled from the assembly line, measured, weighed so that each part as close as possible to like parts, i.e pistons, rings, rods, cams, crank etc. Valve and head work are limited but possible (again with in the rules) BD

in the old days khi did a limited production run of ZX6R's for WSS (and probably other SS championships) purposes. These all had very little tolerances, piston's with the same weight etc.... That was in the Days of 'Fearless' McPherson when he was close to winning the title in 99. I don't know if they still do it like this now?

i would think they run the complete kawi racing kit with tuned ecu, and like everyone else says a balanced and blueprinted engine, with lightened internals wherever allowed. probably an ama specific tuned exhaust and a few other pieces.
