that was pretty freakin incredible!!! amazing how hard those guys can push those things. makes me remember how great a rider edwards is; he kinda gets forgotten playing second-fiddle to rossi. thanks for the link!!

What a race that was, one of the highlights of motorcycle racing.

I tell you it doesn't get any better than that race!! I remember sitting down to watch that race with tonnes of anticipation. Two guys both at the top of there game(Bayliss,Edwards) ,one race weekend (Imola) ,winner takes home the 2002 WSBK championship.This race was fantastic !! There were literally dozens of lead changes over the 2 race weekend. Both men giving 110% ,while also giving us the viewers the ride of a lifetime. I've watch racing in many different forms for a long time and this one my friends has got to be my all time favorite.There are many that have got me excited (Rossi vs Hayden) final round 06, (Schumacher Vs Villeneuve) final round F1 97 , (Senna vs Prost) Final round F1 Japan 89 and (Schumacher vs Hakkinen) Final round F1 Japan 98/99 but nothing compares to (Bayliss,Edwards) 2002 WSBK Final Round. If you have not seen it then you half to !!!

Assen is one of my favorite tracks, other than Monza, to watch. What year is that? Haga on the R7, Yanagawa, still on the ZX-7RR. 99? I had to laugh when Bussei went in to the gravel, he almost saved it but then hit that trench. Down!

1 of the greatist races of all time! thanks 4 rehashing my memory. Last year Mladin accidently shot champaign in my eye and then signed the bottle. I thought that was the greatist time of my life, but i forgot about being at that race with my dad. that was definately the best moment of my life. Thanks for bringing back the memories. :thumbsup:
