New sponsor welcome section

Noticed that color rite and tobefast.com are some new sponsors. I saw the banners but thought it might be nice to have a "welcome" section to announce new sponsors and maybe what they offer or some kind of introduction. Mybe in the newbie section? Just a thought.

I think maybe a two week sticky thread in the ZX-10R forum, the Sponsor Deals forum, and the Outhouse would be a good way to expose new sponsors. I don't think new sponsors come along often enough to warrant a whole "New Sponsor" section. I think there are enough sections as it is. :dontknow:

this is a good idea. I've meant to do it in the past but at what point do you welcome a sponsor and not acknowledge the others :dontknow: we'll probably do an announcement welcoming and also mentioning the others in a week or two. announcements are automated to last X amount of time and will show up on all forums so that would probably be the best way.

Not a whole section per se but the newbie welcome thread made me think of it. That and I noticed a couple of new banners lately. Guess I'd mention a thanks to the regulars in the thread and maybe give them a "newbie sponsor" type welcome when they re-up their sponsorship. I thought it might help encourage other dealers to become sponsors too. Just to see that, "hey so and so just signed up to sponsor the site, that's a good idea...."
