Gear ratio recommendations for Barber Motorsports Park
If anyone has ever raced or has done several trackdays at Barber, I'd be curious what gearing (if any) you used at this track?
I'm debating on which to go with: down 1 or up 2 - not sure the impact at this track, but with stock gearing, I'm barely taping 4th gear on the back and front straights - most of the time just keep in 3rd.
I'm only looking for a slightly better drive on corner exit were second gear is just short of powerband.
I don't always like using 1st as it's high-side city and sometimes I catch mis-shifts.
